When value to life drops in a society the results are never complimentary. For decades the African continent pinned her hopes on the star of its most populous nation. Nigeria however became a terrible disappointment failing to produce the leadership expected of her by the continent. Meshed in deep corruption and a myriad of ailments Nigeria has become an object lesson in poor governance. Roughly half a century after its declared independence the colonial contraption is breaking down on all fronts. Our studies have produced a convincing conclusion that exposes cheap value to human worth as the central challenge to progress in the giant nation.
Looking within the continent, we have located an ancient creed in West Africa that could form the core of an indigenous solution to the woes of the continent. Properly studied, presented and packaged, the Omoluabi matrix is a seed that could produce a giant African oak whose benevolent branches would provide shade for all men of color. Its fruits would provide sustenance that will restore dignity to the black man and enhance his status in the world community.
Starting from the great value given to human life by the Omoluabi creed our study will take you through an African insight starting from ancient days of glory through the Arab and then European contributions. The ancient creed visits the dark days of slave trade to sort issues that predated the colonial rule. This presents a unique and rare assessment that will assist the emergence of a strong, bold and courageous leadership that will take Africa to its place of destiny. The study presents an inoffensive African palaver on which the thorny issues that have shackled the black man can be aired without fear or favor.
